APG is an organization of medical groups and independent physician associations (IPAs), not of individuals, and our leadership team reflects the unique nature of that membership. Our policy-making Board of Directors consists of 44 of our member groups, each represented by one physician, usually the chief medical officer, and one executive, most often the CEO. An Executive Committee is elected from among board members to implement policy. APG President and CEO Susan Dentzer is responsible for day-to-day operations with the support of staff members in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Antonio, and Washington, D.C.
