My guest will be Seema Verma, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, where she’s responsible for Oracle’s clinical and clinical trials applications portfolio and spearheading the development of Oracle’s next-generation electronic health record system.
Seema was the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from 2017 to 2021. In this role, she led the implementation of various federal initiatives on advancing value-based care, interoperability, price transparency and her groundbreaking Patients over Paperwork initiative.
Prior to her role at CMS, she led a national health policy consulting company to assist stakeholders in care transformation.
We will be discussing how innovations like AI can transform care for Medicare and Medicaid patients as well as what the future may hold in initiatives surrounding Medicare modernization.
