Dr. John Jenrette is the Executive Vice President of the Cedars Sinai Medical Network. He brings more than twenty-five years of experience in healthcare delivery and management that ranges from California to the Midwest.
He oversees the organization’s network of primary care and specialist physicians. He is a physician leader who is focused on innovative patient-centric, provider led delivery models that meet the challenges of today’s healthcare market.
Prior to Cedar’s, he led Sharp Healthcare’s $300 million-dollar physician organization with over 1,000 physicians and 600 staff members in San Diego, California. During his time, he was responsible for strategy, leadership and the overall direction for the organization, where he developed a county-wide network of physicians under multiple payer contracts that maintained a high level of profitability and top performance.
Dr. Jenrette is summa sum laude graduate of the Ohio State University School of Medicine, following a family medicine residency at the Northeastern Ohio University. He began his management career as a program director of the Family Practice Residency where he also served as faculty before transitioning to California in 1993.
