Brandon K. Sim is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Astrana Health, a technology-powered healthcare delivery organization, where he leads the company in its mission to enable providers in delivering accessible, high-quality, and high-value healthcare to all. At Astrana Health, he leads the healthcare delivery transformation effort for physicians and patients and oversees the company’s strategy, growth, operations, and technology innovation. From its roots in California’s San Gabriel Valley serving communities traditionally overlooked by the healthcare system, Astrana Health has expanded across the country and now delivers exceptional healthcare to over 1.1 million Americans through its network of over 12,000 healthcare providers, supported by a team of over 2,000 employees.
Prior to his current role, Brandon served in a variety of roles at Astrana, including as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and as Astrana’s first software engineer. Prior to joining Astrana, Brandon was a quantitative researcher at Citadel Securities, and, before that, co-founded Theratech, a medical device startup. Brandon serves as a board member for a private healthcare technology company, and prior served as a board member of Cardio Diagnostics (NASDAQ:CDIO).
Brandon received his M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering as well as his B.A. in Statistics and Physics, magna cum laude with high honors, from Harvard University.
