David Joyner is chief executive officer of Hill Physicians Medical Group, California’s largest independent physician’s association with more than 4,000 providers and revenues of over $500 million. After serving as Hill Physicians’ chief operating officer for two years, David was appointed to CEO in 2015.
Prior to joining Hill Physicians Medical Group, he held numerous senior executive-level positions over a period of 14 years at Blue Shield of California. Before Blue Shield of California, he served as president of Vivra Women’s Health, a division of Vivra Specialty Partners and held various positions at Bain and Company.
David currently serves on America’s Physician Group’s board of directors, Canopy Health’s board of directors and the Integrated Healthcare Association’s executive committee and board of directors.
David holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.
