Dr. Jeffrey Lasker is a senior physician executive with a track record of building and leading highly successful and effective physician-hospital aligned provider organizations. For the last 10 years, he served as founding President and CEO of NEQCA, the 1,800 physician network for Tufts Medical Center. NEQCA includes 550 academic physicians of the Tufts Medical Center Physician Organization and over 1,200 primary care and specialty care community physicians in primarily small and medium sized independent practices. NEQCA became the best performing network of independent physicians in the region based on publicly reported quality measures, earning top of the market reimbursement to its physicians under global risk contracts. Dr. Lasker built a highly effective culture of quality across independent practices, fostering innovation and loyalty. Prior to that, he was the Founding President and Chairman of Affiliated Pediatric Practices (APP), a group of 14 independently-owned, community pediatric practices in Boston and nearby suburbs, and served as an organizational leader there for over 10 years. APP currently has more than 60 physicians and 30 nurse practitioners working in 17 community pediatric offices. Dr. Lasker received his pediatric training at Boston City Hospital and his Master of Medical Management degree from The Heinz School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University
