Renee’ Buckingham is President, of Humana’s Primary Care Organization which currently operates over 300 care centers in 15 states and 26 markets under two brands – CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Conviva Senior Care Centers. Humana’s Primary Care Organization is the nation’s largest senior focused primary care company and cares for 345,000 Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients. As President, Renee’ is responsible for all business and clinical operations, financial performance and the continued growth and expansion of the payer agnostic primary care business.
Until January 2018, Renee’ was Vice President and North Division Leader, in Humana’s Medicare business where she led Market Operations for one of Humana’s largest Divisions which provided Medicare Advantage benefits and services for nearly 800,000 seniors across 20 states.
Prior to joining the Medicare Segment in October 2014, Renee’ led Humana’s Provider Development Center of Excellence as an Enterprise Vice President and was responsible for both building and deploying programs and capabilities designed to support providers as they moved from transactional care to value-based care. Under her leadership, Humana grew its Value Based Agreements with providers to more than 900 Accountable relationships.
Renee’ has been with Humana for 25 years and has had several other leadership positions including Vice President, Provider Contracting, and National Vice President, Provider Engagement and Value Based Programs.
